Father John Cioppa, MM is a member of the Catholic Foreign Mission Society of America. Father Cioppa was ordained a priest in 1959 at Maryknoll, New York and came to Hong Kong the same year. He has served the Church in Hong Kong for over 40 years in various capacities as teacher, school supervisor, planner and builder.

       He has served in several parishes as Assistant and as Parish Priest. Presently he is Assistant Parish Priest at St. Patrick’s Church, Lok Fu, and Project Director at the Holy Spirit Study Centre. He is the author of several published articles on the Catholic Church in China.
